Welcome to essingen.com, the homepage of Björn Olin. I currently live on the greater Essingen island in downtown Stockholm. I work part time as a photographer / writer and part time a software developer.
Throughout my life I have been interested in design, painting and colors. Thanks to the revolution of digital photography and the computerized post processing, photography has become such an appealing and hazzle-free way to satisfy my visual creativity needs.
At present I am providing editorial photography to magazines and stock photography for advertising.
Editorial photography
My photographic work has appeared in a variety of magazines such as Utemagasinet, SeaKayaker magazine, South African Paddler, Nikon Pro magazine, Outside magazine, Sveriges Natur, and Paddling. Numerous online sites also cite and publish my work.
